A face I have been waiting to catch . . .

Isaiah has many faces. Really, the expressions on his face speak so much louder than his 3-year old words. =0) Some of you have seen these facial expressions in person, and know exactly what I'm talking about. For others, I spend a lot of my time just trying to capture these expressions. You know, for the embarrassing pictures us parents love to show to their friends, but mainly because I want to remember them years from now (should he outgrow his facial speech). =0) Here is one face that I have wanted to capture for soooooo long . . .

Just a little background info.: Isaiah's speech therapist was here today. He has only worked with her a few times, and he's not too fond of being pushed to do things. He has his routine and likes to stick to it. =0) The funny thing about the picture, though, is that he really wasn't mad at her (or me taking his picture - he's a ham). I guess he just felt like making the face!! =0) It just makes me laugh every time I see it. From now on, when I'm having a rough day, I'm going look at it - I'm sure it will at least get a giggle out of me! =0)

Anyway, here's the progression of the final face . . .

Almost there, but not quite . . .

There it is!!!! The face I've been waiting to capture on, er, an SD card!!!!! =0)

Don't you just love it???

That's my boy!
